My name really is Kay, but most people here in Kona, Hawaii, know me as Kona Kay. Therefore I call my small business Kona Kayⳮ And since it is not nice to ask a lady her age, I will not tell you.
My business came about because I needed to make a living after my husband passed away. I started selling my special Mac-Nut Brittle and some baked goods on a small scale demand called for me to expand.
Attached to my home is a building with a commercial kitchen where my helpers and I prepare my Kona KayⳠSweets and Treats.

Sure, I spend many hours in my kitchen but there is always a little time left to relax. I confess, I do not watch television, but I enjoy playing my piano and my organ. And I spend some time with my two dogs, Max, and Bucca, my oldest.
As you see, I am a real live person. In fact, the picture of me on the left was taken by a visiting friend of mine one sunny Sunday morning in my front yard, next to my kitchen building, not by a professional portrait studio.
